Calculations of equivalent dose rate depending on geographical altitude, latitude and flight height are obtained on the basis of original patented methods. These methods are a collection of the world’s experience of tissue-equivalent radiation dose rates of secondary cosmic rays (protons, pions, muons, and neutrons). The used methods are distinguished by integration of results of the physical simulation on the base of Giant4, the empiric models on the base of the experimental measurements, usage of PCAIRE and FLUKA codes. The heliocentric potential changes and monitoring of GLE-events are taken into account on the basis of data of the neutron monitor network (www.nmdb.eu). The changes of cosmic ray spectrum due to the contribution of the active proton events are monitored with the help of usage of the online data of Geostationary Orbiting Environmental Satellites (GOES).
The total annual dose of radiation received by flying on the plane has to be no more than 1000 µSv or 1 mSv.
